SPG Youth Charitable Organization (SPG Youth) is a 501(c)3 established to bridge the gap between academics and arts by providing resources and innovative programs for at risk youth. SPG, an acronym for Sowing Promises of God, was created in July 2005 by G. Felice McClendon and Chamaine Shotwell, founders of SOPOG Productions, LLC, an entertainment company specializing in film and music.

SPG Youth's mission is to award youth living under their privilege with resources to enhance their craft and secure their future with opportunities that are often missed in the traditional classroom setting.

To empower students SPG Youth teams with other nonprofits to sponsor classes, workshops, books, uniforms, travel, and equipment to support youth in diverse art forms.
Program offerings include the traditional 3 Arts (music, performing arts, and literary arts) and nontraditional artistry such as culinary, comedy, and DJ/MC.
